Diagnostics 3.0 marks a major leap forward in performance and usability and delivers faster, smarter insights.

Entities

At the heart of this release is “entities,” a powerful new mechanism that keeps a live, curated database of Smallworld sessions, datastore files, etc. Dashboards now pull from this optimized dataset rather than parsing raw events, delivering lightning-fast responsiveness and slashing load times.

React JS

We’ve also adopted React JS, allowing us to build more dynamic dashboards and intuitive user interfaces—including brand new views for creating users and managing environments.

Enhancements

Security and performance weren’t left behind: enhanced threat detection with IQ Server, and a new latency alert system. And yes—it’s all fully compatible with Smallworld 5.3.5 and the latest Splunk 9.4. For those upgrading from earlier versions, don’t forget to check the updated Diagnostics upgrade guide for important Splunk configuration steps.
